Gating in a game that does not allow matchmaking on certain endgame content is a real issue. By nerfing Gally you will not affect this. You will only make people even more elitist, and I'm not talking about the people who will gate in protest, I'm talking about the people who gate because any other rocket launcher does not get the job done in the same way Gally does. Nerfing Gally will not change this. It will make people even more insistent on people joining there team have one. Because it is slightly less effective. In my opinion you have approached the issue backwards. You should have added a DoT perk to Truth and tracking to Dragons Breath. Buffing them you would have made them more effective, and people would stop gating as much. You wanna stamp out gating forever? Add optional matchmaking. Problem solved. I'm not angry at the suggested nerf I'm disappointed in the reasoning and decision making at play. Surely everything I've said above was discussed in house. I refuse to believe that you never considered buffs instead of nerfs. Gally can be nerfed and still be effective. People are acting like you're going to remove tracking and wolfpacks! But it does not address the underlying problem you are said to be addressing. I hope you seriously consider the constructive criticism that is flying around this forum. Criticism from passionate players who love the game you have created, players who are just as responsible for its success as you are. Listen to reason. Listen to the fans.
