Raid Gear Questions...
Yo dudes, I know I will seem a bit nooby for being so clueless, but is there a way to obtain raid gear (CE or VoG, doesn't matter) that has the light stat "36/42"? or is 42 raid gear reserved for ascension only? Please doods I can't find this anywhere and I'm too lazy to do a raid multiple times just to get the gear so I can find out. Thanks for reading c:

Gear obtained from the vault of glass or crota's end will need to be ascended in order to reach the new max light level if 42. In order to ascend these item you'll need ethric light.

CE gears starts off with 30 light and maxing out at 36 light, but can be ascended to 42 light. PoE gears sold from variks all come with 42 light but requires an armor core, which you can receive from doing the 32 PoE each week.

Edited by ATP: 7/16/2015 4:13:38 AMHello, The only way to obtain 36/42 legendary raid gear is by ascending them using an [armory]Etheric Light[/armory] The only legendary armor which comes at 42 light are Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders gear purchased from Vendors.
