What's your grimoire score or your lore theories?
Edit: Okay, next question. Does low grimiore indicate that you're better in PvP and high grimiore mean you're better in PvE?
I don't believe that myself, but I'm curious about what you think.
Edit: Still my favorite thing to read on the pooper. I love lore theories.
------------------------------------------------------------
I hear that if you don't hunt down every ghost you're not dedicated. If your grimoire is below 3000 you're probably the worst person in the world and if it's below 3200 you haven't been playing since alpha. Folks will kick you over this score. I'm just wondering what's the big deal? I see people with 3200 grimoire die instantly in a raid but others below 3000 do hard mode just fine. Some people either play just PvE or just PvP, it doesn't make them bad players.
And why are finding ghosts such a big deal? It's five grimoire. You get 540 from finding all of them. I mean it's fun and all finding them, but how is it dedication? I don't get the fuss, I just think the grimoire is all in good fun (and great for reading when you can't sleep). Lol people treat it like its a freaking doctorate in destiny. Yeah, yeah I know already "git gud scrub" "grimoire is for try-hards." I think we can be civil about it though.
Edit: I'm surprised that people still want to kick people over Grimoire score. I wonder if they got kicked out a lot over their score. We all start at 0.

Mine's over 3900 on Xbox and I haven't really even tried. Guess what? I'm fairly terrible at the whole game in general, I've just played a lot of it. Grimoire is utterly meaningless.

Fact - Grimoire Score is relative to both penis girth and length. ~ Albert Einstein, 1997

4630 I had everything but rumble wins done before TTK came out. Was kind of disappointed it's not displayed anymore. Doesn't mean you're great at any one thing, just well rounded I think.

4000+

I hardly ever look at grimore score. I judge people from how well they perform, their attitude and manners. Things people do in real life you know? Lol!
-
4550 XB1. About 100 more points from vanilla easily grabbed I've been lazy!
-
Your grimiore at least to me as of ttk, lower than 2700 your a newer player and might not understand everything in a raid or stike and I'll gladly help you learn it, as long as people don't pull the I know how to do it and try to tell me when they don't understand how

I don't care for grimoire. I'll read it on the app, but I find it to be one those things that people use to.swing their virtual dick around with to give their life.meaning. other than that it's doesn't tell anyone how good you are, if you can coordinate communicate and be a team player. I have never a fan of the achievement point system.

I'm in the 4000's now. once upon a time grimore could tell you how seasoned a player was. The difference between most peoples grimore isn't ghosts but rather enemy class kills and kills with particular weapon types. Mind you I have my control grimore maxed and my other crucible related ones are low as hell. Now grimore mainly tells you how dedicated to grinding someone is.

3530. Working towards 3600.

I don't give a crap about other peoples Grimiore, it's the weapons they use that will cause me to boot them. No good weapons ? You're booted.

Edited by TeKnoVKNG23: 7/23/2015 1:21:27 PMFor the most part it is just the indication of a "no lifer" or someone who spends way too much time playing Destiny. Most of the grimmoire achievements besides finding the ghosts are just based on the amount of times you've done the same thing over and over again. It is hardly an indication of "skill." There are plenty of people with 3200+ score who are like 0.50 k/d in Crucible and have terrible PVE k/d numbers and stats, lol. Mine would probably be higher but I haven't touched my Xbox Destiny account since May and haven't been playing much on PS4 since HOW came out. The funny thing is it took me forever to get a 32 on XBOX and get higher score, but then on PS4 I got nearly the same grimmoire and a level 34 in like a week.

I'm at 3620 with everything remaining being PVP. Most of that would be knocked out with 1 trip to The Lighthouse. I also need 30 more Salvage wins and 74 more Rumble wins.
-
3530 im still trying to go flawless in trials and i still need 3 more public events for tier 3
-
Mines 3200 and I played since alpha

Makes no difference to me what someone's grimoire is... Once they are at level or close enough then that's all that interests me. If someone doesn't know what they're doing and is open about it, then I'll take time to tell them and if someone -blam!-s up, no big deal, we'll work at it till we get it right
-
I don't really care about it.
-
I hardly ever remove a player from my fireteam, I usually promote a friend if the fireteam suddenly becomes full so I don't feel like the dick but I know Its still my fault lol I'm playing a video game, enjoying it, so what's the rush? I'd honestly rather help other players reach "veteran" status, how about instead of kicking players maybe show em the ropes, don't be weak. I'll spend as long as it takes to help out a new player. Hell I still run story with guardians time to time lol low grimoire shouldn't equal exclude the person from participating.

3650...almost there
-
These days if your score isn't at least 3000, I probably won't raid with you. (No offense to anyone because I have played with s few good ones)
-
I'm at 2940 and I've put way more than 1000 hours into this game . Grimoire is nothing to do with dedication .

Max or gtfo

I'd say 2800 is the minimum for a dedicated player. Most people just don't care about it and people who don't play PvP lose out on a lot of it. I have 3565 as of this post.
