I don't want to sound like one of those people but..
I'm really considering quitting.. But hear me out. I just completed Prison of Elders on level 34. I spent a long time trying to complete it. (Hours and hours) I did it already on my Titan before this time. So I was on my Warlock. We got to the boss and my team struggled to stay alive with the flaming ground. So after countless tries I was forced to hop on my Titan (in the hopes of being able to switch back to my warlock after I kill him so I can still collect the goodies to become level 34) but I was wrong.. The game wouldn't even let me join back.. Never in my Destiny life have I ever been more sad. So much time put into that and effort.. I'm really sad. I can't even explain how I feel right now. I just feel like I wasted so much time and effort. What do I do.. Because this really sucks. I doubt anyone will even respond..

Complete it with the character you started with. I did it on my Warlock and my hunter. The hunter with the worst jump ever lol

There's actually a work around that. If you get to the final round & want to switch characters, make sure you are friends with someone in there with you. Switch characters as usual & click on their name just as you would join their fireteam. But you can't press join since it says joining disabled, yes? Have the team already in wipe. While they do that, hover the cursor over "join fireteam" & as soon as they respawn, it should light up, allowing you to join. I'm not sure if anybody knows this, so spread the word!

Bungie posted weeks ago and in the reveal said that you wouldn't be able to join after a certain point. There no CP's either. Over the past 3 days there have been countless threads about this and how you might only be able to re-join in the airlock between rounds, if you're extremely lucky and time it right. You got greedy and paid for it. Learn from this and move on. It's a video game. You missed out on some pixels. It's not like you won't ever do that event again. Suck it up Buttercup.

Next time all you have to do is have a team wipe and re join during the countdown. But you can't join a fire team once you get to the boss round. I thought everyone knew that

Why didn't you just open it on your titan? You don't get armor drops from the chest so you can just put your etheric light in the vault.

That does suck but did you really think you could just switch characters just for the loot? It wouldn't be right to do the 35 and switch to a 32 to collect loot

Why are people here so rude? Look. It happened to my friend before but only it was a lvl 32. It was a pain for me and my other friend to 2 man the boss but it happened. I would be so pissed if that happens. But remember, it's just only a game. Try getting off for a bit, do some stuff outside of destiny, get back on later and play some more :)

The worst experience I had was I finished the poe in 35 with my warlock. My team was there for nearly 2 hours. Once we beat it and we got in the treasure room, I couldn't get the main loot like the emblem, shader, and ship because I didn't have a treasure key. Besides the etheic light, and cores, my rewards were 2 motes and a strange coin. Lesson learned. Dont go into 35 poe without a key. I was upset but hey, we move on

2 Repliesmy friend and i two manned the level 34 mode. he was 33 i was 34. i had 2 deaths he had 3. was very easy, and urrox was not even slightly challenging. any class can stay in the air long enough to only get hit 1-2 times from his flame enrage.
