Quick Destiny Resources

So, while I've been playing Destiny, I've come across some websites and such that have been very helpful to me and I wanted to share those with you guys. With all of the websites out there, here is a list of the ones that I find myself using most often. If you have others, please feel free to share them and most importantly: why you think that they're invaluable. I'll be creating a separate post with smartphone apps that are also helpful as well. Enjoy and have fun, Guardians! DestinyDB This site is the first place that I check every Tuesday after the weekly reset as it shows the Weekly Nightfall as well as all of the modifiers for those activities. There's also a article every Friday morning detailing where Xur is, what he's selling and whether or not it's worth your strange coins. ShdwFlm also does a great job telling you the minimum and maximum stat rolls for exotics as well as highlight worthwhile upgrades offered by Xur that week. Destiny Checklist This website will let you see at a glance what you've done for the week as well as other helpful things like an Iron Banner rank projector and stats analyzer to show you the best way to maximize your benefits gained from Intellect, Strength and Discipline. Destiny Ghost Hunter This website will show you what dead ghosts you have yet to discover as well as the locations for all of them. Good for getting the fifty needed for the achievement. Destiny Exotics This site will let you mark of the things that you've collected so that you know know what weapons that you're missing. Shows Playstation exclusives, as well as all of the items from the Raids and Iron Banner. The other articles that I'll be adding below are just good information or interesting things that may assist you in making decisions about what weapons to seek and what to scrap. Keep in mind, that these sites are based on opinion and therefore, should be taken with a grain of salt (or a shot of tequila, whatever your preference!) "Best" Legendary Weapons by class A listing of the "best" legendary weapons in the game as well as alternatives to the Raid weapon drops. Keep that thing oiled, Guardian. 10 "Best" Rare Weapons worth keeping Another opinion based listing of the 10 best Rare weapons worth keeping. More geared toward Kinderguardians, this may also be useful for those people who haven't created additional characters yet and need something to get them to level 20 (and subsequently, the promised land of using all those sweet legendary and exotic toys that your other characters have enjoyed.

    • Okay, so I found a few more websites that I'll list below. While not quite as useful as the previous list, they all have their distinct advantages. I'm also aware that some of the things that I post are from websites that I've already mentioned, but I felt that direct links would be more helpful than the general ones. So, here goes: Shader Previewer A part of the Destiny Tracker website, this particular tool lets you preview shaders s you can see what they look like before you go hunting for them. It only shows the shaders for the equipment that you're currently wearing so make sure that you have on what you want to see before attempting it. Perk Finder This page, also a part of the Destiny Tracker website, lets you search for weapons that have the specific set of perks that you want. Still looking for a weapon with Final Round, Spray and Play and Armor Piercing? Look no further than this helpful tool. Gear Loadout Planner Rounding out the list from Destiny Tracker, we have this final page that allows users to compare any two items and see which one is truly the better base weapon. If you click on Details under the weapon or armor, it'll show you all of the possible perks that the weapon could possibly have. These sites are all about allowing you to be able to make a much more informed decision about weapons that you have and I feel that with the ability to re-roll legendary weapons in House of Wolves, will allow you to better know exactly what you're looking for when you re-roll that sniper rifle to be the ultimate Crucible tool or find the best loadout for your Prison of Elders armor set. Again, enjoy and have fun, Guardians!
