Is a gaming quality mouse and keyboard recommended for PC gaming. If so what are some good models that won't cost me a fortune?

Edited by brandorobot: 4/27/2015 10:21:18 PMHaven't really had good experiences. I have a Razer keyboard that has frequent problems and a logitech g500 that crapped out a while ago. Now I'm just using a cheap Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse and they work decently enough. I'll be hesitant to spend 70-100 each on a keyboard and mouse again.

For keyboards, you want to find anti ghosting as a priority (allows multiple key presses at once without canceling each other out) and second, just a suggestion, a mechanical keyboard for better feedback. For a mouse, optical with a decent dpi. You don't have to spend a fortune on them as well. There are many options out there for cheap. For example, Cooler Master has a bundle that includes both for $30. It's not the greatest but it is good for the gamer on a low budget. Anything Logitech is good. What is your budget?
