Crucible KD from 1.80 to 2.85 post update. Is it just me?
Since the new update, ive found myself being killed far less by easy to use shotguns with a constant supply of ammo. personally i prefer the skills of using primary weapons with the specials as a bonus. Since the update my K/D has rocketed and i'm getting 30+ kills a game. Very happy with bungie listening to the feedback. I'd like to hear what others think?

3 RepliesI would never say it takes less skill to use a shotgun, I can't hit the side of a wall with one, but will go on a rampage with any primary, it's just different. I'm excited with the changes tho, freshens it up! Still wish there was about half as much heavy ammo! Rocket madness is fun but not so often :/

Same, my KD is average (1.60-ish) because I like to mess about, but nowadays when I mess around I'm hitting 2.0-2.5 KD!! And when I try.....wooh!

3 RepliesI'm a fan of the changes too. How do I check my k/d spread? I'm sure it's less than one but I like the flow of the game a lot better without all the shotgun mayhem

Shotguns are still a pain and fist of panics seem more common, but I have managed a couple of 3+ k/d games as well as a 'prevailed unbroken' last night. So in essence I would have to agree with you.

Eh, it hasn't really affected my playstyle because I sit on my butt at the far corners of the map with VoC. Although it is making it significantly easier to bring my K/D back up after Iron Banneroo knocked it down a couple of pegs.

1 ReplyFinally someone not hating it. I agree with you the update did crucible a great thing. I have my felwinters and two to the morgue. But more people ACTUALLY using primaries is great. I already have my Last Word and Red Death with me maxed(Yes, earned). My shotgun is for the pesky corners you have to cut IMO at this point or just small close quarters encounters.

2 RepliesIt was a very good change tbh but starting ammo for shotguns should be slightly decreased and slightly increased for snipers. Then it'd be almost perfect IMO.

Yup. Even since he sold the last word my KD has gone up some. Only got to play a few matches yeaterday but it'll go up more. I just stay out of range and use my Mida and TLW can't do jack shit. Really love how everyone's using it right now.

5 RepliesI have noticed a steady increase in matches I finish positive in since the update. At one point my K/D was 1.10, but after Fellwinter's Lie was available it dipped down to .90. I've managed to get it back up to .93, so I'm confident I can get back up to 1.10 before HoW drops. Now if I could only figure out a counter to the other bane of my Crucible existence...Thorn.
