The Vex are all about adaptation and optimization of their abilities, and so making use of physical jumps helps them to navigate uneven terrain whilst storing teleportation energy for critical evasion maneuvers. On a more aesthetic level, I like the idea of a more agile Vex unit, one that makes use of vertical and horizontal space, rather than easily predicted movements like all the other units.
