Its nice to see that the majority of the player base Has realised how much Bungie ripped us of with this cut-content, fraudulently advertised, grind-fest of a freemium game.

  • Yet the gamers did nothing, even when a disappointed lawyer who bought the game gave the community a way of changing everything.

This is a loophole lawyers use if they have the manpower of a cooperate labor force that are going to lose their jobs from a merger (big in the mining industry). What he/she proposed was filing a minor lawsuit in small claims under "unfair, deceptive acts and practices law" through false advertisements with videos and documents the Op listed. They showed direct false advertisement for hype around preorders for this game. What had to happen was the community had to band together and each individual had to lay down the $100-$200 claims (price of a game plus dlc) from all different regions- Canada, USA, Europe, Australia etc. the claims would be so numerous that Bungie and Activision would have to hire teams of lawyers for each jurisdiction (AKA every state, province, territory etc) that would require the teams to meet every so often to unify their message without contradicting themselves. Its a lose/lose situation for them. They either get tied up in court for the next 4 years and go bankrupt. Or the claims get aggregated in each federal jurisdiction and they are audited, charged and shut down.

It will never happen... gamers of today are worse than weak prison inmates. They take whatever gaming companies shove up there and thank them graciously afterwards, even defending it.

  • Lol. It's not gamers of today that are the problem.. If BungieGoebbelsVision didn't parade this turd (Destiny) as an open-world fps with a 10 year lifespan and didn't blatantly lie about it's content, we wouldn't have this problem now. Asking millions of gamers around the world to all shell out 100 USD in foreign currency is ridiculous. The solution is simple, just stop playing this game. Make a post on the forum and get a majority of the player base who log the most hours (The hardcore addicts) to take a break. If nobody is playing their game even when HoW drops, they'll flip shit because they have comet in the fall.
