I want to say that the forums have really spiraled out of control, but I dont think theyve ever been any different than this.
When the vog was a new thing, all the posts were about bashing hunters.
Then bashing the queen event thingy.
Then it went to whining about the whole exotic gear upgrade.
Then bashing christmas noobs.
Then whining about the hard crota raid being too hard.
Then bashing people who thought the raid was too hard...
Anyway, point is, its always been a pretty trashy forum. From what Ive seen. Maybe it was nice for the first week or two.

B.net was totally different before Destiny. There were some trolls and other bad apples, but nothing like what the Call of Duty kids have brought to what the forums are now. There was some Halo trash talk but it felt more like a good community.
