Fair enough I guess, but uni is a rare drop, red death is relatively common, plus he's sold it 5 times already, while the uni only once. That's not to say people need one more than the other of course. But if for instance he would be selling something and it was leaked, it could and most likely will change. While I get that bungie want people to turn against the person who posted the leak to try to make it look like they were wrong so people won't trust them in future or something like that so they blame the source of the leak, people will know it's bungie who changed it, the player-dev trust that we share with bungie is wearing thin at best after the whole "activision made them withhold content from the disc and sell it as dlc later" business. Either way it seems that letting bungie's plans run their course for xur and probably IB, would be for the best. For instance, thunderlord. I know it's unlikely for him to sell it ever, but if someone leaks that and then bungie changes it, that would suck plums to no end. The thing is that bungie want to be in control of their game, but leaking this info is giving a lot more control to the people who have the power to find this information. If they don't want xur to sell something they simply leak that specific item and all it takes is bungie to blindly change it to prove they're in control, when really they're doing exactly what these people want them to do. They may not want to control certain items in such a way, but the fact is, if they post those leaks chances are that they will change it, even if it's true or not.

Err nope. Red death hasnt been sold since week 1 & 4. Universal remote was not needed as he had it a couple of weeks back so if you didnt buy it or have enough coins then tough. Red death was available when nobody had enough coins to get it. I took my time with the game early on so unless you spammed the hell out of it 23 coins would be difficult in that timeframe. I didnt realise xur even existed until 2 weeks into playing.

Nope. Check destinyxur.com. been sold week 1 & 4. Obviously you dont play this game much as its common knowledge that he hasnt sold it since the beginning.

I could have sworn he was selling red death after the dlc. It seems I was mistaken, my apologies. But I have played destiny for a total of 1756 hours, so I think you'll find I have played it for a much more considerable chunk of time than you may have thought. I suppose that's why the xur stock database is needed, it's far too much to remember the exact stocks for that many weeks, we are all human after all no?
