Dear Bungie: Nechrochasm
Dear Bungie,
Your hard mode raid weapon is trash this time around. Complete and utter trash.
Please fix this, sooner than later! It needs to be on par with Vex (at least) in terms of usefulness. I hope you realize this and address this issue or many of us are going to lose faith in your ability.
This should have never happened but OK everyone makes mistakes. We will forgive you but you need to fix it soon. Don't drag your feet on this one, take a small portion of your time and figure out a cure. We want to enjoy our hard fought weapon now before the next thing rolls around.

I've got one: needs a bigger clip, more impact, a bit more stability, and the thrall explosion should trigger like firefly. Those things would make it the raid exotic it should be.

2 RepliesI tested my Necrochasm on lvl 30 enemies while using Weapons of Light. And it seemed to be a perfect damage boost to it IMO. Whatever percentage Weapons of Light gives to your weapon damage would be a perfect buff to Necrochasm. It didn't make it amazing. But it helped a lot. And made the weapon useable, even on yellow bar enemies.

I agree, Necrocasm needs a buff. Bungie you are full of shit by saying it is working as intended and no buff is needed. You better take a look at your numbers because I gaurantee most people who have one arent using them. I have two collecting dust.

5 RepliesThis may be true. But I think it's more about validation of a concept than anything else. It's a new way to upgrade weapons, and while they didn't get it right the first time around, you must agree they learned a lot about how to make it work going forward. Image: Destiny 2, where you build up your weapon from scratch, from White to Green to Blue to Purple to Yellow to Orange or whatever is next... And maybe they'll go further, letting us choose upgrade trees and individual nodes. Look, I'm not saying you're wrong. But take the long view. It's very encouraging.

Bungie, Fix all that other crap, especially vault space, but make sure you fix this too. Right NOW! If you don't I guess I will have more room to store this weapon, since it is useless.

Thank you for the bumps fellas! I am glad to gain some support on this. If we get enough maybe Bungie, might actually read this and the other 20 posts about it. Wishful thinking but Ill keep my fingers crossed.

2 RepliesYes it's bad against higher level enemies but it's good in patrol mode. The best part of the gun is the thrall explosion. All you have to do is kill one enemy with a headshot and the crowd blows up. They will end up buffing it. Give them time.

You'd think they would have made the gun super OP then nerf as updates come. Upgraded Ally to Necro and I'm so disappointed. Luckily I wasn't farming crux, I just happen to get it. Still would rather use fatebringer>vex>Thorn>word of crota> hell even no land beyond lol

Needs to be better than the vex, that thing is outdated and not even that great since all the nerfs.

2 RepliesRecommended most effective killing method for Necro: Get Husk -> Ally -> Crux -> Necro =>> Free Grimore card -->> use the Grimore card to paper cut the enemy and while they are tearing up use a real gun to kill them... Takes a little less time than the Necro does to kill anything, so you are still 1 up on the enemy (if not dead yet). BTW, Bungie, are we supposed to be in a war to save civilization and you call this a weapon...
