My favourite fantasy series is easily Discworld. It is the perfect combination of satire, humour, and deconstruction. It has plenty of memorable characters and some truly touching moments. I highly recommend it to everyone.
What books are you reading?

I'm currently reading The Manual of Detection, and I have American Gods loaded on my Kindle, so I'll probably read that next. My favorite books are The Night Circus and Dhalgren. I've read them both a few times and I love them with all of my body.

Lord of the Rings is deff one of my faves, another GREAT series is called A Song of Ice and Fire, not many people know of it but its amazing.

Edited by BROWN HAWK: 1/13/2013 7:29:12 PMI'm 100 pages into Xenocide. Not sure what to think of it so far, except that Jane's fantastic (although I knew that from Speaker for the Dead), and the Enderverse hasn't disappointed me yet. Other than that it's Children of the Mind, and then I've pretty much covered the main Ender/Shadow series.

I'm reading The Alchemist at the moment.

The Dresden Files and House of Leaves are some of my favorite books.

Edited by Myth of Tyrant: 1/13/2013 7:27:34 PMFor anyone theology-oriented, C.S. Lewis' Problem of Pain is a fantastic read that strives hard to answer a lot of questions people might have about injustice and suffering in the world. And if anyone ever goes through a difficult loss, A Grief Observed takes the ideas laid out in Problem of Pain and applies them to one of the worst kinds of pain.

Rereading the Man in the High Castle by Dick. Fantastic.

Currently looking for a book to read, I have most of the culture series on my iPod, but I find E-books difficult to read, so I'm more or less just drifting until I find a satisfying book.
-
I'm reading robots and empire by Isaac Asimov, I'm more into science fiction

Nothing right now.

I don't read.
-
I plan soon to go back through R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt Do'Urdern books.

Currently waiting to buy the last book in the Wheel of Time series. I'm currently reading Cloud Atlas (which I'm really enjoying and can't wait to see the film), after that it's on to Any Human Heart which a friend of mine recommended for me. I want to read the Song of Ice and Fire series too. Alas, time is not my friend.

Currently reading through the Wheel Of Time series. Pretty amazing. I've also read Game Of Thrones, LOTR, all that stuff. Also reading some other smaller books on the side.

I like Tom Sawyer.
