Accidental account creation
With this new look to bungie.net i thought my old account was gone, so i created a new one. Is there any way to do away with this new one so i can link all of my accounts to my original?

You can't link your old account to any other social network. The way it works is you can sign in using those, but you can't link an already created account to those. Trying to link to facebook or google will just end up in a new account creation.

I would think logging in with the old one will solve it.

Why not just log out and log into your real one?

Just log in on your other account.
