Maybe you can sub out the word "intense" for another adjective but it does seem like there's less general trolling and bans (well I don't think anyones got banned yet) and no warnings by moderators.
If moderators aren't being like "cops" anymore then does that even make this place a forum?
(I'm not saying mods don't do anything anymore)
Any ideas why they wanted to make the change from a heavily moderated forum to a more of a open style of sharing ideas? Almost like a social network.
In general I think that just less ridiculous stuff is being posted because of this new style of a forum.

I have to agree. I haven't seen Mythical Wolf since the update!

I've only noticed one or two banned users, likely because there are far fewer offenses that can result in a ban, so they'll be less frequently handed out. We now have far more control over the content we view, so there's no need to ban political discussion, religious discussion etc., as threads can simply be hidden and members blocked. As for why there are fewer trolls, it may be that many have yet to make the move to Bungie.next, or some may have realised that most of the content will just be hidden instantly.

Maybe the trolls are the same kind that didn't bother to get used to the new site?

We clicked hide and that's it no need for ninjas. So at night will strike them down remove there titles and feed them to the mutated ladybugs.

I think if we let it sit for a month, it will return to normal with all the normal trolling and such

How can you say that this is not "intense"? I mean, come on! So..... yeah.

Edited by Kickimanjaro: 1/12/2013 6:51:25 PMI don't see trolling anymore, and when I do I just hide it or completely mute the troll.

Everybody probably hasn't filtered back in yet and people are mostly focused on one thing here for now. Just give it a little time and things will cycle back to "normal".

Proof that anarchy is good for the people.

I just recently saw a post from a user that was banned... forgot what forum was.. well tag.
-
I'm curious as to what the ninjas see when you hit the "hide" button.

Edited by JFKES: 1/12/2013 5:52:14 PMJohn Cena struck yesterday, but because of the sheer number of posts, and the fact that we can hide his posts, he was very quickly taken care of.

The "trolls" are not intelligent enough to adapt.
