Alright, I get it. Shotguns are annoying as hell. I agree, and I dislike using them. "But you don't want to nerf them?!!?" Nope, I think they are at a pretty good spot. So why do you and I loathe them so much? Because I like snipers. Because I like to roam around. Because they are the best option. Because the maps are nearly ALL catered to shotguns! I mean they literally just added two of the smallest maps to the normal control playlist. Only the maps with vehicles are viable for other specials, and people stay away from vehicle maps for a reason. Solution to the shotgun epidemic? Don't nerf shotguns. Create larger maps (without vehicles, or hell, even a playlist for the larger maps without vehicles) where shotguns become unwanted. Simple as that.
