Ok so before anyone posts the usual crap about how Xbox will eventually get these exclusives and blah blah blah, hear me out. I am not really complaining or whining that PlayStation got some exclusives before Xbox, that's often the nature of competitive business. The issue is more the timing. From what most people can gather, Bungie has stated these exclusives will come out in 2015, most likely around September, when the game has been out for a year. That's way too long a time. Now I'm not impatient or anything, it's too long a time due to the game and how things are progressing. We already saw Bungie make a sad attempt at upgrading exotics to keep them in-line with the Dark Below DLC. And by sad attempt I am talking about the exotic shard and 8k glimmer costs to upgrade an exotic to 331attack potential and then have to re-level the entire weapon. Who knows what sad attempt they will implement in the House of Wolves DLC. Added to that if the Comet expansion does release in September, again who knows what will be happening to exotics, especially launch exotics. So its completely possible that by the time Xbox gets these timed exclusives, they will no longer be viable or usable weapons, and will only be sought after by grimoire and collector enthusiasts. Now this of course really only applies to the weapons. The strikes can always be scaled up in difficulty, like they are already doing with ROC strikes, and still be a nice addition when Xbox gets them. In all honesty, Bungie should release these exclusives sooner rather than later, and for sure release them long before the comet expansion drops. Again I hope you read the post rather than just assuming I was an Xbox crybaby. Even if they just released one item at a time throughout the next few months, that would be better than waiting till September and running the risk of these items being useless due to the progression of the game.
