My ruin wings failed me on Crota this week. Not sure why but on Crota, I had to do 2-3 synths because I wasn't getting any heavy. I was pissed!

2 or 3 synths? i would suggest finding a better sword bearer or a couple of gjallarhorns. it doesnt take much to down crota now with the new level cap.

Yep. I have seen that too. It is inconstant. In PoE early waves netted LOTS of drops, then later waves not a single one.
