As the subject says, has anyone heard any hints to weather this is possible or not? But also does anyone know if the 360 and 720 (and PS3 and PS4) version of the game will be playable across platforms (eg. 360 gamer playing with 720 gamers etc.)

it has been officially confirmed that there is no cross platform play between microsoft and sony devices. There is still possibility of cross platform play within the same company but we will have to await confirmation.

Edited by Origin88: 2/25/2013 1:15:42 PMI think it would be very cool to have one massive community which consists of the different platforms Destiny will be on. However with Sony and Microsoft being rivals and ''Xbox Live" and "Playstation Network'' being different gaming networks which would have to find some way to work in tandem.. i find it highly unlikely.

I think in the IGN reveal that they said no cross platform multiplayer, but that may be with ps3,ps4 and nextbox, xbox 360 playsers (as in playstation players can not play with xbox players)

Edited by AnonymousF22: 2/25/2013 1:10:18 PMI really don't think PS3/PS4 players will be able to play with players on the 360/720. They both have a different Network, and the company's that own them are rivals. 360 players might be able to play with 720 players, because they both have almost the same Network (Xbox Live) And Destiny will be on the 720, Bungie can't talk about that until Microsoft announces the 720, the same thing happened with Sony and the PS4. Activision always try's to put big AAA games on every platform.

There has been no confirmation that 360 owners can player with NextBox owners. Same for Play Station. However, given that these people run a business it is definitely possible and a good business decision. So no, there is nothing official but I feel it is completely likely.
