So here's a little background on me. I was unjustly fired from my job, a large entertainment marketing company, last June. In 7 months, I haven't been able to find anything, though I got close a few times. It's very frustrating. My passion has always been writing and storytelling and I've written feature scripts for independent films, an award winning short for the Assassin's Creed film contest, and just published my first novel. Bungie has had a posting on it's website for a while now for a writing position and I definitely fit the required skills, but try as I have, I cannot get their attention. I've applied online, I've sent query letters to their recruiters on LinkedIn, and even snail mailed my resume and writing samples. I figured as a last ditch effort if I could get enough bumps that this topic can trend on the forums and I can get on their radar that way.
