Ive been playing since day one, but I've not had the time to invest a huge amount. Im 170 hours in and level 30, but yet to do a raid.
The reason is this- I don't like mic's. I work a long day and when I get home I like spending it in my wife's company. That said, I've watched walkthroughs and would be able to hear you fine but wouldn't necessarily talk back.
My question is- how many of you would raid with someone who has no mic?
Im not necessarily LFG, just wondering!
Communication is pretty crucial for hardmode stuff. Informing a team when you see swordbearers, boomers, ogres, etc. Calling out Oracles in VoG, praetorian spawns. I can see mic-less being viable if you're following instructions well, but there is no such thing as too much communication. I prefer raiding with people who can tell the rest of the team when they need assistance completing their role. It just adds more pressure to the other 5 if they're constantly having to look over the mic-less player's shoulder to make sure they don't need to help.
