Allow perk switching?

Not allow perk switching?

Dear Bungie, I'm not in a coder. I am but a humble dude who dominates video games humbly. I'm not going to pretend to tell you guys what is and isn't possible. I just don't have that skill for details. However, this is the feedback thread, where we can talk to you, and put forth concerns, or ideas. Well, I have an idea. The gunsmith, Banshee, is an awesome dude, who knows his guns inside and out. I think he should show us. I would like for the gunsmith to actually smith me some guns. Now, I don't mean from scratch, and then name it and all that, but I would like to be able to change some perks for my gun, and I want Banshee to do it for me. For example, say I have an auto rifle that has decent stability, but it also has an increase stability perk. I would like to be able to go to the gunsmith, and change it for another perk, say over-penetration. This would allow players to customize their Guardian's weapons, customize their play style, and all around make the game more enjoyable because of that "glove fit" guardian. For example, every day, or every week, the gunsmith could sell different perks that we can switch out for perks we may not want, or may not need. This would be similar to how Xur does his thing, I guess. Also, this "upgrade", if you will, would allow for a chance to take pre-DLC ledgendaries, and upgrade the damage on them. Banshee is a gunsmith after all, he know's how to get us more bang for our bucks. (EDIT: For legendary weapons only.) I think it would be cool of you guys to allow this to happen. Implementation would be a coding issue, I know. It's just a thought that I thought the rest of the community could get behind. You guys probably get all kinds of crap for stupid little things, so I appreciate your patience and time (Haha) if one of you at Bungie were to read this. Thanks, Dr. Chillyhands P.S. Maybe a poll would help show the opinion of the community on this matter?
