Ok, so by this release. The problems that are turning a lot of gamers away have been identified and are recognized by Bungle. If they aren't addressed that will cause problems in maintaining their base. I get the business model, I really do. But, if some of those items aren't fixed, they may end up looking at alternate methods of repair when the dam breaks. As for me and my friends, not looking to continue after HoW unless things are fixed. Mother of God please don't go to micro transactions.

Wait and see I guess. I imagine each new exotic will get a bounty. That is the fairest way to do it. Grind with purpose. Keep RNG for everything else, but I imagine they will look even more closely at linking certain drops to certain bosses. It is more than just the loot though. They need to come up with a way to freshen things up. I've got a fraction of the time of most, but I'm starting to lose interest now I have a few exotics.

HoW will determine the way forward for Destiny. If it's too grindy, broken reward system, forced raid or crucible play for exclusives, are recipes for disaster. The casual gamer working a 9 to 5 with a wife and kids needs to have an equal chance for rewards with less available time to play. There are a lot of great games on the horizon Bungie. Put up, or lose players. Your move.

Buuuuuuushittttttt!
-
i gotta feeling they wont change anything untill after release with patches
-
Stopped playing Destiny to the crew because -blam!- Destiny
-
If you read between the lines, you get this: "We won't make the same mistakes we have in the past. We're planning on surprising everyone with new and egregious mistakes to piss off our core audience by making it clear that we don't value their investment in this product we need them to invest in."
-
This is welcome news. The way they handle HoW will effect future dlc purchases more than anything else.
-
I agree the game has its issues, but other than still not getting a ghorn yet, and been playing since beta, I cannot say I haven't been enjoying the game. I've had AC unity, and DA: Inquesition collecting dust as I continue with Destiny. Though admittedly plan on taking a break once I hit 32, until HoW.

Oh look a source, this pleases me thank you sir
-
Let's come up with some creative upgrading ideas so Bungie can implement them? We know Bungie at least reads this stuff.
-
Maybe

Edited by SpinThaVinyl: 1/25/2015 7:18:39 PMPiss off bungie. You'll always have glitches. And cheeses. And swordbearers who won't drop a sword when crota is about to enrage and you wipe 10 times because of this. Yeah this happened 10 times near enrage on hard crota for me -_-

We will see what happens wont we?
-
Saw a flying pig.....
-
I'll believe it when I see it. I'm not pre-purchasing anything from Bungie again. I'll give HoW a chance, since I preordered the season pass.
-
I read this as: We've learned what pisses people off! We have no intention of fixing the previous mistake and are going to leave the time suck aggregating process in place but we have a new slightly less time suck of a process that will irritate you just a little less to tackle after.
-
Mhm... reset incoming once again because they can't just add content, only recycle and grind.
-
Frankly I don't believe it. All of the issues players currently have could be fixed in a few patches but instead they continue to let us waist our time grinding because it keeps people playing. I still play the game daily but at this point I don't know why..
-
I'm here until HoW, then I'm never preordering a Bungie, or Ubisoft game again.
-
They made similar quotes about how the story would be much better in Dark Below. It's all marketing bullshit. There are many things from day 1 they still refuse to fix (heavy ammo bug, wiping out vaults/characters, etc).

we will see

When does HoW come out?
-
Stopped reading IGN once Greg and Colin left. Well, really Greg. Everyone else there sucks.
-
They should have posted this on the Bungie News!
