So my idea is to incorporate pvp into patrol missions in a public event.
So imagine a public event starts in the mothyards. During this event dinklebot(or whoever) tasks you with taking/stealing a fallen glimmer(maybe 10k) stash and running to the rocketyard for completion. Only any other guardians who participate would be able to kill you and take it for themselves as their objective is to take it to the array for completion. Kinda like a small capture the flag event. Rewards for completing would be large amount of glimmer and plant mats i.e. spinmetal maybe 30 in this case
So all guardians who join would each have different locations to complete the event
Pve players not taking part would carry on as normal not taking damage
Maybe the fallen have waves of guys trying to stop you as well? On pikes!
Story or reason for the mission could change maybe your stealing xurs strange coins winner gets 1-3 coins.
These are intended to be a few times a day not ever 20 mins. Keep the event more or less rare if the value of the reward increases/decreases
Maybe a team based version for actual pvp that takes place on the planet patrol maps obviously completely separate to PvE
What do you think to my idea? it's by no means perfect. I pretty much just made it up as I typed. Lol. I'm sure with some suggestions we can streamline this?
