T4R, it seems like with every year: video games just keep getting worse and worse. Not just in gameplay that was getting stale in 2010 but in every other aspect as well. Soundtracks aren't even worth mentioning anymore, content is lacking (unless you buy the [i]optional [/i] season pass which doesn't download any new content) and it seems like publishers are now forcing developers to focus games on maximizing profit rather than customer satisfaction. Do you think this rise in greed will eventually subside from the gaming industry? Or do you think this downwards spiral is likely to continue until some inevitable market crash reminiscent of the 80s? Now don't get me wrong, there's still a couple publishers out there who still do honest work, but it feels like eventually they'll have to do the same shady tactics (Disc locked content, microtransactions, yearly releases) as others do just to keep up :-(
