Moved over to digital recently and can never look back.
-
Why I prefer physical? They're cheaper used and have value to trade in. Hard drives have limited space.
-
I like having the actual game because of such cases (yesterday) i got hardline, it was terrible so i took it back and said it was broken. No harm done
-
Whichever is cheaper.
-
There's a certain satisfaction to holding a game in your hands, I don't know why but it just feels better than a digital copy.
-
Physical. Ever since I was a kid, I've always enjoyed the excitement of opening the plastic on a new game and taking in the "new game smell". Also you can always resell a physical game.

Digital
steam
-
That shelf just full of games makes me hard
-
Digital bc I can barely walk:(
-
Digital cuz I'm lazy lol. I also don't buy games very often and make sure I KNOW WHAT I'M BUYING so I don't get pissed off that I can't return it. Destiny was an exception to that though :/
-
There's just something about have the physical copy right there in your collection. It's basically the same reason why I don't read ebooks. It's just not the same compared to a real book.
-
Digital is reliable and you can't lose the disc but take up hard drive space. Physical means cool preorder stuff and the cases can look cool but they break and are easily misplaced.
-
Physical games don't take up your entire hardrive.
-
Hard copies bc theyre more reliable and ,like one guy said, the case art on alot of games are beautiful
-
Digital has the best sales. But I buy physical for games I get on release day that I'm hyped for
-
Cool game cases
-
Physical so I can buy play and trade in after towards the next game
-
Physical games can be resold, digital can't
-
I do digital a lot more now so I can put it on my living room system and my sons in their room. I still buy physical copies of the games I know only I will play. I also 99 gamers for my trading now as opposed to gamestop. I love putting out the middle man.
-
Considering how me and my partner in crime game share with each other, I prefer digital. Plus it is extremely convenient
-
I find its mostly older people still buying physical games.. lol
-
Digital. They can't get scratched.
-
As convenient as digital is, I like having the box art and feeling like it's mine
-
Physical, can sell em back and trade them.
-
Hard copies, and the cases are like artwork. If the whole world decides to go fully digital in a century or two, those hard copies may be worth to future gen like the cartridge is to us.
-
Physical. I take great care of my games. Plus, I like Physical things for collection reasons.
