[b]This is a rough draft of a Story I created, I wanted to share my thoughts with you Destiny players, Enjoy the story. Do not try to take this as accurate Destiny lore. It is just a short story. I had to clump a lot of it together to get it to post.[/b] Destiny - The Eye of the Storm Earth Year: 121 A.D. Location: Planet Jupiter The Speaker(TS) with the stranger(STR), Master Rahool(MRA), Ikora Rey warlock vanguard(IRWV), Cayde-6 hunter vanguard (C6HV) with 16 other Guardians(G). TS: It has come to our attention that the time jump was successful? IRVW: Yes, Mr. Speaker it has become successful, we are on the planet in question, and the time coordinates we "acquired" from the Vex delegation seems to be correct. MRA: what would you have us do here sire? (sarcastically) Find some trinkets? We waste time here while the Cabal amass at our front door of Neptune. We must prepare for a war! TS: I understand your concern Rahool but, the beacon began here on this date. Just retrieve it so we can prevent the Cabal from jumping to it and figuring out what it is. The guardians have already scattered on their speedorz looking for any trace of life, on the Earth like surface. The Stranger has an uneasy feeling about this mission, when her intercoms transmits the first of the search parties words... G: Team leader Rey I have found a point for the signal on my radar going to it now, request additional assistance at the following location G4-E3-H6-G876, Over? IRWV: Copy sending Cayde-6 and The Stranger and the two closes Guardians to assist you, slow down once you are 100 meters from location and wait for back up, Guardian. G: Understood Ma'am. IRWV: Ghost link with all other Ghost and transmit visual images to all Guardians. Ghost: Yes ma'am. The Stranger was not born from The Travelers Ghost's, she was an orphan whom was not of the Guardian corp. but was of something... someone else. 20 earth minutes later and Cayde-6 and The Stranger met the three guardians 100 meters from the signals origin. The team was at a cliffs edge, and was overlooking a dense green brown field and in the middle of the field was a smaller version of The Traveler. C6HV: Um.. Ikora you will not believe me but there is a Traveler here. IRWV: I see it Cayde-6... we all do, Speaker do you see it too? TS: Yes, but how? Why here? The timing is incorrect. Send the Guardians in to investigate. IRWV: Yes Speaker o.k. team go investigate, you have your orders. The team proceeds down the cliff face with extraordinary speed, as if they were given parachutes and free falling the 2000 meter cliff face. Once all have landed on the floor of the basin, They went to helm communication just in case there was something there that they did not want to disturb. The dense forest was of metallic plants and trees 10 meters high, the plant life was of veins of silver gold and darker fluids that seem to absorb any light that could (penetrate) the thickened overhang. The Ghost were cautioned to use a low level light to keep the element of surprise on their side. C6HV: All Ghost fly above the canopy and do a infrared landscape image so we can have an easier clue of where to go. Silently the Ghost flew up and out of sight of their Guardians. Images started to flicker in front of the Guardians in their visors and they linked in with The Stranger so that she could see ahead. The pace was a blinding speed as the Guardians moved through the forest from green to brown to green again until, they all had to stop. C6HV: Report! Is everyone else seeing the same thing? They all reported in, a visible electronic wall like the ones found on the Venus near the heart of The Black Garden. As Cayde-6 tried to communicate the teams finding to Ikora Rey, a low hum began emanating from the Traveler look alike. The Ghost recognized it and began translating for the Guardians. Disembodied voice: You have traveled a long way out of time to find me... why do you interrupt the course of history? TS: We are here because we wish to prevent the loss of great cities and expansions that will become history in our timeline, (the speaker slowed down to choose his next words carefully) to forgo tragedy on a universal scale by warring amongst these endless stars. The Stranger began to feel the terror washing over her, the war with the Vex, the Fallen, the Cabal all of these the floating orb could read from her, and in turn it turned to her. She gasped, and listened to the screams from the three Guardians in close proximity to her. The Guardians turned towards her and began to fight and not of their will but of the orbs. C6HV: Stop it! Get in formation, everyone break contact, make for the gate we must withdraw! The Stranger activated her Bladedance ability and began to blade around not to hurt them but to run, with electric lightning speed she dodged the warlocks Nova bomb, jumping up to a higher vantage point Cayde-6 could see The Stranger running for her life, until the titan in the group caught her with a shoulder charge. She was hit and was slammed against the base of a banyan like tree. A crumpled body laid against the tree, the three Guardians stopped their attack and focused on the Smaller Traveler. DV: You are all there is left of destruction... I will lead these Cabal, Vex and Fallen to your door I will have your end... humanity, you crave violence, I will feed your hunger. (pausing for a moment the Smaller Traveler digs into Cayde-6's mind and sees the Hive) Ah but you have something else that has over taken your...Earth, I will give that a voice too. These three Guardians will be my herald if you ever return to this planet. As the orb spoke Cayde-6 picked up his silent defeated comrade and made his way towards the cliff. DV: Heralds your minds will be trapped within your "Ghost" only to be forever lost on this planet. Take your place along side me. Ikora Rey knew from Cayde-6's communication that The Stranger was down and sent her own ship to pick him and The Stranger up, she felt the desires of the Smaller Traveler over the intercom, she knew that this was the starting point of everything and that this was how it all came into being, the beginning. The Smaller Traveler created a small wind that turned into a hurricane force wind reaching in excess of Mach 4, ripping the guardians bodies to pieces and tainting green and brown leaves red. It stretched for meters beyond the measurements of visors. The Smaller Traveler made the three Ghost the center of the storms locking them in a repeat pattern to roam Jupiter as the "Giant Red Spot". Time and Year: Today The Stranger was returned to the tower but disappeared, she was not fully healed, we searched for her for three years before giving up, the Cabal took Mars, our Robotic counterparts the Vex turned on us took Venus established The Black Garden, the Fallen still continue pursuit and we them.
