People who leave a strike early because it's omnigal or for some other reasons should be punished it's annoying getting into a strike and someone leaving and then the other person leaving because he did there should be a punishment for it like a reward ban or something
Maybe a map voting system then that would be easy to implement in to the game surely
-
there should defiantly be a voting option. i have no problem leaving a strike if it's one I've done over and over and over and over...
i change characters while the strike is loading. :Ox
There's plenty of legitimate reasons to leave a strike. What if someone just PLAYED that strike and they don't want to play it again? What if both their fireteam members just quit and they don't want to solo it? What if they're disconnected due to Bungie's zoo of errors? Under your system, people would get unfairly punished. That's stupid.
-
Nope sorry... I just did omnigul twice in a row, sorry I gotta leave... That's the scenario that happens a lot bungie, in my opinion, should have a few things during strikes A rotation - prevent duplicates, people who start strike playlists start at a random point so no strike team is ever empty but there is a known rotation so you can't get 3x -blam!-ing rocket mcdickface in a row A kick button - now I know this would also cause some problems, but if you and your random teammate could vote to kick the idle asshole hoping for a 'strike without dying' without contributing this would be great Some sort of reputation system - I do actually use the report player option if a player is idle, but I am well aware it does nothing, let's have a reputation system whereby people who have been tagged as 'unhelpful' or 'inactive' are stuck together so then they have to actually do some 'work'

Edited by Fallout: 1/18/2015 8:47:04 PMThere are a number of reasons as to Why someone left. Maybe: Someone got shot Connection issues Bee Beaver Wasp Anteater Marrionberry Pineapple Your gear sucks You may die alot Rockets Mcdickface Family unplugged wifi so they can do something with their lives They are the president and they need to run the Country And many other reasons

Perhaps the less people you have, the higher the chance for a good drop?
-
Map voting gets my support ALL day long. Punishments, no, not when strikes seem to get stuck on loop...
-
Why I find it more of a challenge to do a strike on my own. I think there should be a playlist for players who would wanna do strikes solo at level 30. Also if players get the same one 3 or more times in a row they are gonna wanna quit. It's on pvp it's pve no big deal
-
Ya. I'm getting tired of soloing ROC strikes, especially The Undying Mind. Map voting would not work. It would be nexus or sepkis prime every time.
-
Get your lonely ass out of here. No one wants to do a long strike for 1-2 Blue engrams.
-
Edited by l MGW l: 1/18/2015 8:47:00 PMWhat if they lag out? Bungie's servers are complete crap. What if the power goes out? Spring is approaching where I live, and with it likely wind storms. What if there is a family or personal emergency I must attend to? What if I want to take my time and you want to speed run? What if I want to speed run and you want to take your time?
-
Why should I be forced to play a game with you?
-
Edited by DSharp018: 1/18/2015 8:33:26 PMHow about a debuff that prevents them from joining strikes if they leave entirely on their own for 15 minutes? That would teach those speed runners that quit the long ones a lesson. No penalty for people that dc due to a cruddy internet connection though. That would be hell for those people (me and a few others)
-
I don't agree with that because you might not want to do the same strike loads but the clowns that hide away while you tackle a boss by yourself and then come down after to sit down and take the piss of which then still gets rewarded better then you is really is somewhat ridiculous. I love this game but things like that is pretty annoying I would love to be able to boot them fools. But that's life... And this is a game.

Edited by AustinTamf: 1/18/2015 8:25:30 PMLol or not. If you have any, play with some friends so they wont ditch. But someone as stupid as you i wouldnt be surprise if they ditched you too.

Edited by tarez3091: 1/18/2015 8:27:10 PMStfu in play with friends mad cause a player don't want to play a strike what the -blam!- are you serious please play Pokemon kid Had to edit for the people who don't text
-
Got Valus 3 times in a row. Left the 3rd time. It sucks, but I'm playing for fun and that was not "having fun" in my book.
-
Or just leave.
-
If the game told us which strike was next, that would solve a lot of issues. I frequently drop, especially when it runs the same trike back to back.
-
A better solution would be to play strikes with friends and not have to worry about that scenario.
-
If they leave do it solo. Simple. Annoying but easy to do.
-
You ever got the Undying Mind strike 2-3 times in a row? Screw that.
-
If I choose to leave a strike because I don't want to play it, oh well. It's my game. I can do as I please.
-
A ramping connection timeout would be appropriate....but your suggestion is a little extreme.

Edited by ArmaNotSoLite: 1/18/2015 8:14:07 PMYou could leave too, since you'd be the only one in there. It's super lame that they do that, granted. I don't see it as being THAT bad, though.
