Reason PVP will never be truly competitive (Bungies minor fails)

Balance...as if... This is a joke to begin with. Everything breaks balance, the classes, the weapons, and systems behind everything!! I'm going to stay away from 'this class is op' because every class has that OP moment, especially when the right person is driving. If you match the class mechanics to the play style you are going to top the board and piss people off, it happens. The only weapon that is truly OP is the VEX Mythoclast. I have said this before, it is fine in the iron banner since you earned it, what ever. Don't think it is special, it isn't, it just proves who grinded/cheesed the most, but I digress. Leave it in the Iron Banner, REMOVE OR NERF the damn thing in standard PVP. It really is a no-talent weapon that only needs enough luck to land three shots. It is the definition of OP. I personally leave any match when I discover any Mythoclast, my team or theirs, on principle. Other than that any other weapon is what you make of it. I carried a green shotty until I finally got a Purple that was worth it. Weapons and class skills are a constant tuning game, I understand that BUT there is one system that is BASIC and the fact that you have ignored it so badly is simply INEXCUSABLE. This has been a constant issue since multiplayer fps were devised. Counter-strike taught us all this lesson: FILTER YOUR CLIENTS LATENCY. It isn't so much that lag is that bad, except players will exploit the system to get a leg up, sad as hell I know. By reporting a false ping and adjusting your settings so so, anyone can practically teleport around the map untouched just blasting the masses without being caught. Even when the lag is legit it can only serve to piss off every one in the match. I used a shoulder charge which gave every indication of landing, sound, kill tone, everything. Suddenly he disappears only to reappear on the other side of the room. . .zombie walking into a corner. . .reappears yet again to blast me in the face and kill me . . .and then suddenly dies. THIS IS A BASIC PRINCIPLE FOR COMPETITIVE SHOOTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Matchmaking is ridiculous. It is always a one sided slaughter. Take into account char level AND combat rating. There is nothing more annoying than carrying a team of paint-sniffing morons only to lose. Nobody wants to be that guy, conversely nobody wants to be the guy at the bottom because he can't hold his own against insane odds, thats why people turn to the paint vapor. As far as grouping goes, well I still haven't found the reason to put 5 randoms against a full load party of clannies, but you guys sure do excel at it. . .nothing says fun like scattered gerbils going against an organized team of a$$ hammers =_= In short, pvp is fun, when it functions (%17 of the time), but outside of whatever fun you can squeeze out of it, it is quite honestly a joke, and not even a good one. I find myself leaving more matches then ever because of ping/lag/mythocrap. It simply isn't worth the frustration anymore. Filter the latency, Improve matchmaking (PLEASE), and for damn sake fix the VEX Mythocrap!!
