[spoiler][i]WARNING: This post contains the term "Re" many times. Regards. [/i][/spoiler] Countless times now i have received a drop that really does mock me, and many others do also, the idea i was thinking of is that you can use [b]Strange Coins[/b] or [b]Motes[/b] to allow Xur to [b]Re-roll[/b] specific rewards that you receive from Activities such as [b]Raids[/b] and [b]Nightfalls[/b]. Some of you may agree, some may not, but obviously a feature like this would be very powerful as it allows the player to try and prevent getting loot that they can no longer benefit from. The Reward [b]Re-rolls[/b] should only be able to prevent a few items also, nothing major like 5 or more items as that would make the system unbalanced and would allow for rarer and sought out after drops much easier to get. Maybe giving the ability to [b]Re-roll[/b] a total of [b]2 or 3[/b] items from [b]ANY[/b] Weekly activity Reward would be reasonable so that players have the opportunity to disable the really annoying items they just don't want. Furthermore, each time the Re-Roll occurs, or maybe after a few Re-Rolls, it should remove the cancellation of the item so it must be re-purchased and perhaps put on a cooldown for a set period of time. [b]Example:[/b] Player Disables [b]Ascendant Shard[/b] Drops and [b]Radiant Energy[/b] Drops. The First chest in the VoG and the Templar would of given Ascendant Shards but instead Re-rolls to Energy and some Raid Weapons, the cancellation of Ascendant Shards is now refreshed and also frees up that slot, the new Re-Roll option must be re-chosen and repurchased. He then proceeds to do the Chest of Crota's End in the Maze and Re-Rolls Radiant Energy to Shards, and Receives Shards and Raid Gear for finishing the maze (Likely by Cheesing), the Radiant Energy Re-Roll is now also used up and once again the Re-Roll slot is free again and must be Re-purchased. I believe some players would be in favour of this purely for the fact that the Nightfall trolls many players and hands out Coins, and Ascendant Materials, this would allow players to temporarily Disable this for a fee and give the chance to get a reward they actually deserve. The Cooldown and Cost of these Re-Rolls would be at the Discretion of Bungie as i assume they would want to fairly balance the system if something like this were to ever be implemented.
