Bungie's Focus
-edit- I believe I worded the choices poorly, when I say bug, I mean Pocket Infinity locking into a slow fire mode, full-auto seeming to just stop at random on some weapons, the ability to sprint not working at times; basically stuff no one likes. By glitch, I mean things like the heavy ammo cheat which can give one player an advantage over others.
What do you want Bungie to focus their efforts on first and foremost? What strips the fun from Destiny for you and your friends? Is it facing endless torture at the hands of Thorn and Suros Regime in the Crucible, or your Pocket Infinity being temperamental? Do you contemplate murder when someone invites you to a Crota Fondue, or tells you how much fun it is to cheat heavy ammo? Or do you just want to get that monkey (or hawk, or...marionberry?) off your back? Or some other crazy shit I didn't even know about? Tell me, Guardians, raise your voices! Let them be heard by The Cryptarch, The Speaker, Shaxx, Saladin, and The Traveller itself!

The more time devoted to fixing server issues and glitches like, I don't know, getting stuck in mars or Venus? Praetorians regenerating health? Getting hit inside the shield ....the better. The "cheese" decrying is getting really annoying and really old

Though Bungie definitely won't fix bugs, balancing or network errors unless it is truly game breaking. At least this is how I feel after Bungie kept fixing farming spots, VoG sniper safe spots -this is not an exploit, this is a strategy-, exploits with Templar and Atheon pushing, and various other things that just inconvenienced players more than improving gameplay. Now I do agree with fixing Atheon/Templar pushing and Crota raid exploits, but must Bungie exclusively keep fixing exploits and glimmer farming methods to force us to play by THEIR rules... ? So much for "making your own legend" or "creating your own story"...

I voted "other". Bungie needs to focus on the content it's giving us. So many little things they could do that would go a long way with the community. -vault space increase -a way for us to increase beloved legendaries to Lvl 32 -an event besides Iron Banner!! How about a PvE event? -new bounties...the current crop has long gone stale Just a few things they can improve on IMO.

1 ReplyHonestly, with the recent updates, what we have is working well, but the problem is we don't have a lot. Balance is fine and exploits and glitches aren't pressing. My second vote would be for networking errors. But to me, the most pressing issue is content, story, and the lack of other additions (many suggested on these forums) that could make the game amazing. It really all comes down to the next few DLC and updates. If Bungie can impress me in these areas, I will consider buying DLC and a sequel if it truly is in the works. But for now, I'm just observing, making the best of what I have.
