GOG is great too. they're ran by the same people who make the witcher series of games. they have old games and new games, DRM free. great alternative to steam.
-
I beat Oregon Trail with all 5 people in good health. Felt accomplished.
-
You have died of dysentery.
-
Does anyone know if they work on dos-box, I'm too dumb for dos

Xargon was the absolute best. I still have a folder full of MS DOS games on my old PC. Damn that shit was fun and had some replay value to it.
-
You sir are the real MVP. I have been dying to play a Commander Keen game for too long! Thanks!

F-19!

Tried LSL1, didn't even work. It kept flashing between the game and the loading screen.

Edited by weaver: 1/9/2015 3:28:22 AMnope. Just like I stopped playing D&D when video games came out, I don't want the old extended memory limits to get in the way. They suffer from an architecture limitation and IMHO are not fun anymore. Edit: plus with today's gamers, they are going to roll over the bits and break the game more often than in the old days when systems were slower.

Edited by albinomachina: 1/9/2015 3:07:08 AMomg I loved Oregon trail so much when I was a kid.
-
Unfortunately I haven't found one game that works properly.
-
Born in 99 but heard these games were the "golden generation". Which ones should I try out?
-
