True story
Happened to me yesterday.
Open first raid chest - get 2x materials and an exotic.
Defeat Crota - get 2x materials AND NOTHING ELSE.
Play the nightfall solo, spend over an hour, kill every possible enemy - get ascendant energies
Joining at the last minute when Va'aurc is 2 shots away from being dead, killing a random cabal enemy - get Hawkmoon
This is so wrong.
I don't have a problem with RNG but come on. Its got to be possible to code out shitty rewards in nighfalls, as well as code in a minimum of 2 different rewards on raid completion.

2 RepliesWell, to truly combat what you're describing everyone would get insane rewards all the time. I would like to see the RNG weighted differently for effort/performance but that's about as far as I would take it. Sour outcomes like you described would still happen though.
