My favorite activity in this game is Patrol. It's relaxing, there's no pressure of objectives to accomplish or time limits, the enemies aren't strong enough to pose a threat except in huge groups or if I'm being REALLY careless, and most of all it's just about the game's excellent shooter mechanics. I like the public events, particularly the "Band of Roving Pikes" and "Minions of Crota Ritual" things, and the environments continue to provide interesting vantage points and cool scenery. Some things that I would like to see in Patrol in the future would include things like a dynamic weather kind of thing. It would be really cool if it started snowing in the Cosmodrome from time to time. Another thing would be more activities like the minor events with the swords and Pikes. Improved and more varied side missions, (Sparrow race, anyone?) would be awesome. Finally, adding more secrets with in-game rewards to find would be fantastic. Those gold chests had me tearing apart each environment I went to trying to find them, and even though they always have the same items in them with each character, it was fun to find them. So there you have it - something I like about Destiny, as well as some things that I think could make that activity even more enjoyable.
