I've found myself really getting apathetic to playing. I don't mind grinding for rep, improving weapons, etc but I hate an endless grind for no reason. Here are some thoughts 1) Allow legendary weapons and raid armor to upgrade to recent damage levels. I understand locking this to DLC, so allow the upgrade to occur with runed cores and radiant energy/shards. Hell make it a rank 8 new element. Why? This serves to keep old raids relevant and allow old raid gear to lead to more diversity in gear. 2) Make the raid gear from each raid benefit more variety of primary gear. This has an obvious benefit of letting people use different raid sets outside of the raid to fit different play styles. This will make raids have continued longevity. 3) if these are implemented go back to making legendary gear outside of raid set only get you to 29. Again this keeps all raids relevant. Since the gear is already implemented I suggest raising VOG to 32 in the next expansion, Croata to 34 and how to 34 and 36 hard with a cap at 36. This will give the proper spread. 4) if destiny 2 has to be its own game allow for seamless porting of our characters between games. This is what makes me want to quit. I started this game because I wanted a mmo with longevity. I kinda don't mind a major expansion being a game cost, but like the suggestions above I hate feeling like I waste my time. The way this game is working right now I feel like every expansion negates my time spent vs rewarding it. It would be nice to hear the vision on combatting raid work being completely useless as I might as well only do nightfall and heroic, log in for xur, and collect commidations for the xpansions vs worrying about the raids Ps you need to carry forward improvements in RNG to VOG. Common practice in every industry (I'm an aerospace executive irl), I have faith that will happen but it would be great communicating this in your infancy when people don't understand your developer style and vision sense we haven't seen it practice.
