Thorn Bounty Phogoth Strike
I have the thorn bounty, and I just finished the crucible part, now I'm attempting the Phogoth strike portion. I've made it to the second deciphered rune in the three wave part, but I can't make it any further solo. I would love some help in knocking off this part of the bounty. I'm on the Xbox One, my Gt is Verbatim Blow J hit me up with a message on Xbox live or on here and I'll invite you.

If you haven't already tried, check out the recruitment forum also. It is a really rough mission. Even though it's on Epic though, keep in mind you CAN respawn after 30 seconds, unlike if it was a Nightfall strike. So, your buddy/buddies don't have to go all super-clutch-mode if you drop. Best strategy for the end: focus ENTIRELY on the mobs until they're all gone. Stay off the upper platforms, it makes extra spawn. Shoot Phogoth when there's nothing there. As soon as you hear the Hive dropship screech, stop. Mow down the dropship's stuff (Ghorn is especially useful.). Third dropship has the target. It's a Wizard, by the way. I ran Vision of Confluence, Murmur on Arc, and the Ghorn. Couldn't solo it either with my Defender, I couldn't drop the initial Knight horde, honestly. Swapping from Murmur to another weapon, I just couldn't keep up with the constant barrage. Good luck, amigo.
