Black Hammer, White Nail bug.
If you've noticed, when you have the White Nail perk. It works on everything but Hive Majors. It does not refill the mag like it's suppose to. I'm thinking this is because of the damage from the Hive Disruptor perk. Because it shows the additional damage you do and the game thinks you're not getting precision hits, when in fact, you are.
Bump so Bungie can see this and fix it.

1 ReplyI'm surprised this hasn't been touched upon yet. Maybe people don't have the gun or are just not purchasing the perk because it seems to be a known issue by players but I see no attention from Bungie on a fix.

Same here. Was excited to use it on sword bearers, they stagger in headshots making the second and third shots easy, but no ammo gets returned. Much less of a weapon without the perk working. Doesn't hold much in reserve and a shallow clip.

I've tried it on every enemy EXCEPT the hive, so I'll have to look into that.

Edited by A Sporkette: 12/23/2014 8:40:44 AMYeah, i am having this problem too, it only started happening after that hive disruptor perk as i was able to get the white nail bonus before i unlocked that, so it seems to be the extra damage that ticks over on it does not count as a precision shot and resets your count of precision hits. I imagine this issue will also transfer onto any other gun with the white nail bonus from the raid, of which i am only aware of one other so hopefully it gets sorted out before then.

Seems to bug often when dealing with precision shots and returning ammo, with more than a few guns. Bump
