Perhaps our real enemy is Destiny servers
For the pass few days, I've been having difficulties being able to play Destiny. At first it was just contacting the servers but now it's contacting the servers, booting me out of Fireteams or solo gameplay and also logging me out of my own PSN account. I know it isn't my Internet connection because all other electronic devices work fine with my Internet. I also went to my brother's house with my system and it did the same thing when I was playing Destiny with him. And the thing is, we both have different cable/Internet providers. I run on AT&T and he runs on Comcast. So I know the difficulties aren't on my end, something must be up with Destiny. I can't even play a full mission or patrol through because every five minutes, I'm being kicked from them due to this Destiny "contacting servers" crap.
Is anyone else having the same issues and is there anyway on fixing this?

Im in the same boat in Australia. almost always in crucible and regualy in RAIDS which is well.. lets keep it clean. I can get games with green bars and its sweet, but most times it goes yellow and red and I get booted. Good luck. PS I used to be a network engineer for small to medium businesses and I can tell its something to do with Bungies servers and the route its taking to get there. Nothing much I can do about that. Again good luck

I'm having pretty much the same issues except it's primarily in the crucible. Absolutely frustrated with it, I've tried everything their support suggests and yet it's the same outcome. About to give up on destiny :/

I am having the same issue, not my connection i know for sure. This is getting very annoying. Please fix this Bungie!!
