raid problem. I'm deaf
I try reach fire team without Mike but it difficult for me because since I'm deaf and cannot grab 6 fire team. Anyone can help me speak for me to get fire team and play two raid

22 RepliesThis is to everyone that posted about his grammar issues. I'm hard-of-hearing myself which is not deaf since I can speak clearly, understand verbally, and sign via American Sign Language. The deaf and hard-of-hearing community often intertwine and are very close. However, some certain issues that hearing or HOH (hard-of-hearing) people point out is that mainly deaf people with some HOH people can't use proper grammar. This is why, deaf people cannot communicate like any normal hearing person. They use (ASL) American Sign Language which allows them to communicate using their hands. However, when engaging in conversation... "Do you want to go to the store"? You would see that in ASL, everything is abbreviated for quick and fluent sign language. The person would sign, "Do you want to go to the store", but in abbreviations and not every word is said. It'll be signed like this, "Want go store"? It is within the signing that it makes sense so it makes it hard for deaf people to follow grammar rules since they are very ASL fluent. They need extensive English taking courses to properly align the grammatical mistakes they make. Deaf people are excused from this. I have to talk to people like this everyday and you learn to understand. I hope this clears things up. FYI - you are ignorant if you expect perfection out of everyone. I'm imperfect and I'm absolutely happy. Are you if you're pointing someone else mistakes out?

I heard about a fireteam of deaf players completing the VOG in a decent time a while back. Apparently they all learnt to communicate quickly via whatsapp - presumably using acronyms. Pretty extraordinary really. Have a look online to see if you can hunt them down, hopefully they'll be on the same console and I'm sure there's a lot more people out there in the same situation as yourself. Best of luck

1 ReplyI read a forum post about a month ago about a team of deaf guys working together to beat VOG. They posted their video on Youtube as well. I will see if I can find that post, and maybe those guys will be able to help you out more. Great job on beating Crota!

A simple system to costumize d-pad actions would go a long way to help people who are deaf, or have any difficulty communicating. Instead of "HrodHerich dances", it could costumize for each fight, like "HrodHerich ported to venus". Also, the d-pad could be used to implement tools for raid leaders that already exist in computer MMOs, like the ability to mark targets for killing, or mark a friend to be followed, or even highlight spots of interest in the world. Find groups off of here and let at least one person know and tell them you'll message them through the app seein as it's quicker and easier to message than using your systems messaging
