I've never had a problem with burn in before, but I've also never put as much time into a game as I have Destiny, and the special bar is starting to burn itself onto my screen. It will fade with time, assuming I stop playing, which I don't want to do, but I'm also not going to ruin my set over one game. So Bungie, please, please, please give us an option to make the on screen displays less intrusive. As mentioned in the title, a simple dimming via alpha setting would do it, or if you want to get complicated, devising a way for the HUD to fade away after important information has flashed.
