The Dark Below is...

Junk. DISCLAIMER: This is not referring to the raid ay all which will be addressed is a separate post. I'm glad my dlc came with my gaurdian edition of the game which essentially had me pay less for it. The dlc is no better than the free dlc that GTAV Online puts out frequently. We got a few new guns, a few new armor sets, 3, relatively short missions with the same task we've come to know and forgettable new gameplay elements like avoid the green circle in the floor. Bungie has made ascendant materials useless and legendary gear pointless. The new legendary guns sold by the crucible and vanguard vendors basically looks the same as the old guns just repainted the opposite color scheme. We should've been able to upgrade our old legendary gear and weapons. Bringing out the Iron Banner a week after the so-called dlc just was a dumb move as people where left confused as to where they should spend their time and essentially splitting up clans and teams. But then again since the near iron banner gear won't get us to level 32 it's kinda pointless to play and we can't upgrade the old iron banner gear. The new strike was dumb as the only pay that was difficult was taking down omingul 2 bodyguard wizards along with her. Unnecessarily long life bar for them. The story missions once again left me with more questions than answers. There were s lot of holes in the story arc that didn't make sense. To add to that pain Bungie was cheap and lazy enough to not attempt to entertain gamers or immerse them with any dialogue throughout the mission on field and decided not to use cutscenes anymore. Even more painful we have to grind overt and over the same very few bounties that Eris gives out to level up our reputation with her to access her inventory. Throwing salt in the wound, one of her bounties is class specific (i.e. hunter) and can stay on that class for days. Before the dlc release I thought my biggest complaint would be not getting to use the weapons exclusively made available to playstation but now I'm seeing deeper rooted issues. The most fun and interesting that in the dlc is the Tumbler sparrow which is sad to say. That feels like the most love and passion put in. In short this didn't feel like a expansion pack. My world does not feel expanded. It doesn't feel larger, wider or bigger in any regard. If your game wasn't broken before it certainly is now. Whoever thought ofthis gameclearly didn'tthink itthrew orreally knowwhat they were getting into. I know I certainly won't be buying any dlc for this game in the future they way things look. I'm not feeling the love.
