The real reason specials are so OP (for everyone but you)...

A lot of people say shotguns and fusion rifles are OP and have too much range. "They're one shotting me from across the room." and all that. But then the people who use them say "But you have to be right in their face to even do any damage." or "But they take forever to charge up." and "You have to closely follow your target." But have you ever considered the fact that maybe the connections in this game are just so shitty that you're seeing two completely different things? You might see yourself standing point blank in front of me, but a lot of the time, I see you standing on the other side of the room in what should be outside of shotgun range, and yet still I die. I'll see you with your fusion rifle and quickly blink upward just before the burst fires, and yet, still I die. Even though I saw all 6 shots pass right beneath me where I was just standing the second before. But all you saw was me standing still. It was the lag, the dreadful latency that destroys all players. Soooo, yeah, seriously. This is the problem I have with the Crucible, the unbearable lag. I've blinked out of the way of FRs only to die from the shots I saw pass through my previous position. I've had it happen where another guy and I shoot each other from the same range with the same shotgun with the same upgrades only for me to die instantly and him to live with half health. I've had it where I was mid blink and I got HSed by a sniper. Hell, I've had it happen where I saw a Titan rushing at me, quickly blinked up and to the side a good 5 ft or so in both dimensions, saw him activate his shoulder charge, AFTER I blinked, charge into the wall behind where I was, and then me die in mid-air. It's just like, "What!? How the hell did that even hit me!?". And I have a pretty good connection of 30 or so Mbps, connected via Ethernet with nobody else on the network. And the same shit happens to all of my friends too. So it's a huge problem in this game. This is the real reason everything seems so unbalanced. You're not getting OSed by a shotty from 10, 20 ft away, you're just a few steps behind them. And honestly, there's just not much they're going to end up being able to do about it. This is going to be a persistent problem for a long time to come. - Just my take on the whole thing
