Exotics don't feel exotic
The majority of them don't exotic, or have exotic perks. I just got the Monte Carlo and my Vanquisher VIII feels more powerful and it has less attack points than the -blam!-ing Monte Carlo.
"Dealing damage reduces melee cool down" well whoop-di--blam!-ing-doo. That's what I always wanted. How about reducing the cool down of supers!?
"Weapon gains bonus accuracy while firing from the hip" well gee thanks. I've always wanted to fire from the hip like a -blam!-ing noob! This perk is pointless because no one shoots from the -blam!-ing hip! That's why we aim down our -blam!-ing sights! Buff exotics for -blam!-'s sake

Edited by AlTrio: 12/20/2014 7:49:45 PMEach exotic has a different purpose, Monte Carlo is for melee builds. People who like to get up as close as possible, punching like a boxer. The rate at which it regenerates melee can be staggering when it's maxed out, making it very, very good for titans and warlocks with a shotgun combo. When you're close enough to melee, it's typically a lot easier to hip fire, the perk helps that. It's true that it might need a damage buff, but as it stands the perks are just fine. If you don't like the effects of an exotic, just don't use it.

Aiming down the sights is more Noob than hip fire, where are you getting that noobs fire from the hip shit from? That's like saying those cowboys that can put one between your eyes by shooting from the hip are lucky and can't really shoot! But I do agree that exotics need perks that separate them from the legendaries, or they are just pretty weapons! Don't see a reason for me to only be able to carry one in one slot they are not that awesome!

Lol though yes I agree with this post, but what you ask is for weapon that holds power of light it self. If you really want some good weapons try to spam raids. They can drop some really good stuff better then anything thing you get from Xur.
