Only Fools Skip IB
Will reach rank 5 today but for those of you that have claimed I have wasted my time here is what you missed. Hawkmoon, drop, no mans land drop, Gallahorn (dropped for me personnaly) 4 ship drops and high level legendary IB weapons that you can reforge and make any roll you want.
* Just to clarify Gallahorn is only exotic that dropped for me the others I saw awarded. I have dropped IB weapons and the reforge is the best option in the game for people that are non believers.

If you got all that then you are the luckiest guy ever. I hit rank 5 in the last iron banner and all I got was Jolders Hammer but what a gun it is

Iron banner sucks. I can't believe I went on a grind for the gauntlets and boots. I'm still broke to this day. About 500 glimmer to my name I know I can farm the exclusion zone for glimmer, but it still feels like a waste. (Especially since those boots and gauntlets are obsolete now)

I really wanna play it just for that sniper but it seems the servers hate me because just as game reaches 1 minutes left a stupid Animal error pops up every time

1 ReplyWork keeps me from IB. I tried the first one, only got to rank 1. Didn't both the last two times won't bother the next million. Wish I had the time but oh well.

Sure, the weapons + re-roll feature is very cool, I agree, but people deeming IB not worth their time simply enjoy other aspects of the game just fine even without the rewards IB offers. P.S. All the exotics drop on ROC strikes too, so it's not like those are IB exclusives....

1 Replylol at all these comments. i feel bad for all theses players that only focus on the reward. we're suppose to be [b]playing[/b] for fun. -- I had a blast in IB this week. i replaced my boots/arms from the last event, got a new fusion riffle that I'll most likely never use, ranked up in Crucible a little & maxed out my Crucible marks for the week. (+2 of the ugliest ships I've seen in any game) above all, I had [b]FUN[/b]. -- sidenote: don't blame the Regime user. IB loves the AR Headshot Bounty. of course they're going to use their best AR.

I didn't play because last time I got paired up with people that had no clue what they were doing. Winning isn't everything but the only reason I made it to rank 5 last time was because I kept holding onto coins for so long and bought the buff. In all honesty IB should be Clash, not control.

I'm at rank 4 and all i wanted from the Ib is another set of gloves and boots oh the the sniper. all I need is to get my glimmer and gloves are mine and then I can move my current setup to my other titan.

Guess I'm a fool for not wanting to waste my time for some lame looking overpriced armor that I could buy from the vanguard that looks better and some weapons that will inevitably be useless in a few months that are also over priced. I'm really a huge fool.

im rank 3 3/4 in iron banner and im trying to get to 5 so i can get that cool auto rifle and possibly re roll it btw i played every day and did almost all the bounties, yet im here at rank 3

You got good drops from ib? Good, i also had good drops during stricks. Four legendary globes ingrams. IN TWO DAYS. I wasn't even trying....

2 RepliesYes, because playing IB again for armor that is just as good as tower armor or purchasable weapons that will more than likely reroll to crap upgrades, all the while getting pretty much nothing as rewards for your efforts sounds like a lot of fun. As for the random IB weapons, I have better luck finding weapons that already have good upgrades than I do trying to reroll IB weapons. I'm not missing out on any drops because those drops can happen anywhere else. In fact, I've seen 3 Gally's drop in the last week, as well as a Dragon's Breath and No Land Beyond from other activities that are not the IB. (Not the Hawkmoon though since I'm on Xbox) I also don't care about the IB ship. Too bulky for my liking. So no, I haven't missed anything by not playing the IB.

My only problem is I expected Silimar's Wrath to be good considering it's unlocked at rank 5.... Woah was I wrong. Takes about 10 seconds to drop a Dreg shooting him in the head from 5 yards...
