What did I just do??? I had the exotic "super good advice" heavy weapon from the original game. Only went up to 300 attack. I see Xur today and I notice a new "upgrade equipped exotics" section. I had 14 strange coins, bought one exotic shard and used it to upgrade the weapon. I'm like cool! Then I see it reset all the upgrades I had done and I'm like, not cool :/ So I buy another exotic shard in anticipation of grinding all the upgrades back up but then after I acquire the shard I see in the "upgraded equipped exotics" section the icon for the super good advice weapon is lit back up again....I'm like Oooookay, I'll bite...so I clicked on it (now for the second time) and it took my shard but appears to have done absolutely nothing. Is this some kind of joke? Why would it allow me to spend another shard on it if it couldn't do anything else to it????? Am I just a big fool who should have automatically known this? Wow!
