sick of seeing level 31 characters with 274 attack guns in a raid
Never thought I would say this but holy cow! It is way too easy to get into the raids now and the under-levelled weapons/lack of experience can be so frustrating.
Edit: I am talking about level 30 raids here. I would never talk this way about normal mode.
Edit 2: I am trying to be as un-elitist as possible, I will usually solo the nightfall each week and put a post up offering any lower levels who want to be pulled through, no problem, but the level 30 raids are a different animal!

Edit 4: To the guy who is prattling on about getting 1188 kills in a single raid. This means
A. You were killing the endless mobs at the start to grow your e-penis.
B. You repeatedly wiped somewhere like the confluxes with your awful, underpowered weapon. 1188 kills in a single raid is something to be ashamed of.
Edit 5: This is not a discussion about gaming skill, some people are better than others and that's fine, this is a post about laziness, if you take a sub 300 weapon or no experience into a level 30 raid you are a selfish gamer, end of.
Edit 6: Hearing a level 31 say "Okay, so the three who can hold the relic get to the back of the arena, because that's who Atheon teleports." :-/
Edit 7: It is not cool to use The Last Word in a raid (I'm sure we can agree on that, at least)

This does kind of annoy me as well. Don't go into a raid when ur gun is like 248, go do some bounties, Ull max a gun in no time flat.

Hard Mode raid really needs maxed weapons, or at least close to it. The enemies are a pain with low damage weapons. level 30, 31, 32, or whatever, low damage guns hurt your team. Don't be that guy. 5 RepliesI agree. This isn't about elitism, it's about common courtesy. If you enter a hard raid, you should at least be respectful enough of others time by preparing yourself with the proper gear. No one wants to just carry an unprepared player.

1 ReplyLol. I said this is anoter post. And this is a good OP so ill chime in here as well. Its because people so obsessed with cheesing everything and doing nothing but glithing the game. People dont realize the raids are supposed to be [i]hard[/i]. And so they dont try. Which really sucks for people not in clans. I would suggest forming a clan. And scooping up others like yourself that are sick of running with cheating retards who dont even upg guns.

2 RepliesI'm level 31, I've leveled a majority of my guns as far as I can, 294 roughly. I have all my upgrades unlocked, I have the materials, just not the ascendent energy or whatever they're calling it now. Is it my fault I can't get these things to drop for me? I've never done the Crota raid, no matchmaking. You can't get mad at people for bringing their non upgraded legendary to a raid in which they must play in order to help upgrade the said weapons, kind of selfish thinking there. Why not just ask the people up front what they have?

TLW, Praedyth, exodus plan I will probably replace the last word with fatebringer for VOG And exodus with the dragons breath as soon as i get those 2 maxed out For crota hard it will be 331 thorn (once i max it) Black hammer (once i get it and max it) And hunger of crota (once i get and max it)

4 RepliesI was told a long time ago to just drop the last number on the weapons damage output and that's the level damage you are doing. So say a level 30 is using an unupgraded voc. At 274 damage that person is doing level 27 damage. Then factor in the 29s who are already getting a % damage reduction against level 30 enemies. Then using level 27 weapons. It's just doomed to fail

4 Repliesi agree with this ! If your a 31 and playing with like lower level guns wats the point of being a 31 ? O rather play with a 29 or 28 that has maxed out guns and revive him all the time rather then playing with some one that cant kill

3 RepliesThe post you quoted says a 331 weapon does not do more damage to a level 30 enemy than does an equivalent level 300 weapon. That is completely false.

4 RepliesThe only time I didn't use max guns on a raid was the first week of Crota's raid. Still had my 300s though, if you have 274s you need to hit up a vendor. Admittedly it sucks that a weapon requires a week and a half worth of marks. Until you realize that EVERYONE got a legendary weapon recently, even Christmas newbies.

How did your very first raid EVER go? People learning from scratch is what you do to gain experience. Just loom at the first teams to do VoG when it was released. And no I dont think people should be forced into watching YouTube videos that might ruin their experience. People can still be taught in raid like many others before them.

3 RepliesSome people haven gotten lucky with there drops I have never gotten anything better than a legendary in a nightfall the game doesn't reward skill but luck. So to say your weapons are better than our is not valid you are simply luckier than we are
