Iron Banner... You can cut the disappointment with a knife.
Lvl 31 tower gear with a much higher price tag. Woo.
Mediocre Iron Banner weapons (that will just get replaced by House of Wolves IB gear in 2 months) that are exactly the same as last time. Woo.
I'm gonna jump right on that.

Edit: Oh, but the ship tho... TOTALLY worth the 20 hour grind. Totally. I have the last IB ship. Not because I grinded for it, but because it just happened to drop when I was trying to reach rank 5. Hit rank 5, done.
I just want the IB to be WORTH playing. I don't do it FOR the loot. But I'm not going to do it for NO loot. You dig?

It should be a permanent playlist. Saladin should always be around to reforge weapons. I like playing it, but there is no reason for me to go back to Saladin as it is. I bought goldspiral last time and the vanguard has equal gear

That, and I wouldn't mind getting the cape for my Hunter, or more Timur's Lashes.

Iron Banner fails as an event because it doesn't offer raid tier gear. Ironically, Iron Banner would be awesome if it were a permanent PvP playlist.

I absolutely love my efrideets spear with its perks. Totally going to be my main sniper.

I would only do it for the loot*, so the upside for PvP players is one less scrub playing IB. * Did the second just long enough for the boots I needed.
