I thought while I'm at it I'll give you guys some foresight on some exotic bounties. This post is mostly for people who havent got any exotic bounties, so they can prepare before they actually obtain the bounty. [b][i]STEP 1:[/i][/b] I'll start us off on how to get Exotic Bounties. The best way to get an exotic bounty is to get all of the [b][i][u]Vanguard Bounties[/u][/i][/b] available from the Bounty Tracker, complete all 6, and turn them in at the same time. You may even get 4 bounties and 6 the next day to turn in 10 at a time if you like. Turning them in at the same time has [u]no bonus chances[/u] to get an exotic bounty, but it does make it way easier and usually in lumps you get luckier. If you get an Exotic Bounty, You will see a [b][i][u]Vanguard Mentor Missive[/u][/i][/b] on the right-hand side of the screen after turning in a bounty. -[b][u]You can do this with Eris Morn's Bounties[/u][/b] -There is a 2% to get and exotic bounty [b][i]STEP 2:[/i][/b] Once you've obtained an exotic bounty, head over to the Bounty Tracker to see the list of 2-3 Exotic Bounties to chose from. There are a total of 6 Exotic Bounties, but the "Fate of All Fools" Exotic Bounty is currently unkown. Once one is selected, you will get that bounty and its first step. [b][i]STEP 3:[/i][/b] Choose your Exotic Bounty and its weapon Exotic Bounty: A Dubious Task Weapon: Invective Weapon Type: Shotgun Magazine: 4 Special Perks: Full Auto, Solar Exotic Perk: Regenerates ammo over time Exotic Bounty: Toland's Legacy Weapon: Bad Juju Weapon Type: Pulse Rifle Magazine: 24 Special Perks: Full Auto, Kinetic Damage Exotic Perk: After each kill, the weapon will reload automatically and increase damage for a short time. Kills help charge your super Exotic Bounty: A Voice in the Wilderness Weapon: Super Good Advice Weapon Type: Machine Gun Magazine: 58 Special Perks: Solar Exotic Perk: Almost all shots that miss their target will return to your magazine Exotic Bounty: Shattered Memory Fragment Weapon: Pocket Infinity Weapon Type: Fusion Rifle Magazine: 3 Special Perks: Solar Exotic Perk: Fires in full-auto mode and has a chance to return rounds that miss to the magazine Exotic Bounty: A Light in the Dark Weapon: Thorn Weapon Type: Hand Cannon Magazine: 9 Special Perks: Kinetic Damage Exotic Perk: Rounds pierce targets and cause lingering damage over time Exotic Bounty: An Unknown Patron Weapon: Fate of all Fools Weapon Type: Scout Rifle Magazine: 13 Special Perks: Kinetic Damage Exotic Perk: Chain body shots to gain bonus damage on your next precision shot Once chosen you'll be given your first step. [b][i]STEP 4:[/i][/b] Now its time to do your Exotic Bounty. [b]Invective:[/b] 1-Talk to Ikora Rey 2-Complete a total of 5 strikes without dying 3-Return to Ikora Rey 4-Earn a K/D Spread of 25 in the Crucible (+1 per kill, -1 per death) 5-Return to Ikora Rey 6-Complete a Weekly Challenge activity 7-Return to Ikora Rey 8-Purchase and Invective Component from the Gunsmith (50 Special Ammo Synthesis totaling 12500 glimmer) 9-Return to Ikora Rey [b]Bad Juju:[/b] 1-Complete a Weekly Heroic or Nightfall Strike 2-Bring the journal to Ikora Rey 3-Complete 25 Strikes 4-Bring the journal to Ikora Rey 5-Bring the journal to the Gunsmith 6-Obtain a Darkness Infused Weapon Frame from Xûr 7-Bring the Weapon Frame to the Gunsmith 8-Defeat Guardians in the Crucible (25 points per Titan/Hunter kill, 75 points per Warlock kill) 9-Return the Weapon to the Gunsmith [b]Super Good Advice:[/b] 1-Search loot caches on Mars for clues 2-Bring the Frame to the Gunsmith 3-Acquire a Pristine Golden Age Ammunition Module from Xûr 4-Kill 500 enemies with Machine Guns 5-Bring the Frame to the Gunsmith [b]Pocket Infinity:[/b] 1-Obtain a Damaged Ghost from Venus Shattered Coast (Located in a room near the Vex Sensors in the First Venus Mission outside) 2-Kill a Vex Gate Lord with a Heroic Modifier active 3-Bring the Unlocked Ghost to the Speaker in the Tower 4-Bring the Fusion Rifle Schematics to the Gunsmith 5-Charge the core by dismantling 10 rare or higher quality Fusion Rifles 6-Bring the Charged Core to the Gunsmith 7-Kill 200 enemies in a Weekly Nightfall Strike with a Fusion Rifle 8-Return the Prototype to the Gunsmith [b]Thorn:[/b] 1-Complete the Summoning Pits Strike on Moon 2-Harvest the energy of the Hive on the moon to activate the weapon 3-Use Void Damage to defeat Guardians in the Crucible (5 point kills, -2 per death) 4-Bring the Hand Cannon to the Speaker 5-Cleanse yourself and the Weapon with an infusion of light 6-Bring the Weapon to Ikora Rey 7-Kill [i]Xyor The Unwed[/i] (Special 26 Strike only and appears at Phogoth after hes taken enough damage but dont kill Phogoth until Xyor is dead) 8-Return to the Speaker [b]Fate of all Fools:[/b] 1-Win 5 Crucible Matches 2-Bring the Invitation to the Bounty Tracker 3-Perform feats of skill in the Crucible 4-Return to the Bounty Tracker 5-Trade Motes of Light for Osiris Coins 6-Return to the Bounty Tracker 7-Perform kills, headshots, and killing-sprees with any Scout Rifle in the Crucible 8-Return to the Bounty Tracker So now if you've finished all your steps for your exotic bounty, Congrats! You've got your exotic gun! [b]TIPS:[/b] -Slowly stock up on Special Ammo Synthesis so you will have enough when you get The Invective Bounty -Start storing rare Fusion Rifles until you have 10 so when you get the Pocket Infinity Bounty you can skip that step -Bring Friends with you in the Level 26 Summoning Pits Strike for Thorn
