Why should I pay more for what I already have?

Just watch the video because I am very angry about this. If people are allowed to upgrade and keep their in-game items (especially if they bought the collector's edition and season pass) if they got the previous generation first, then why can't it apply if I'm going from current gen to previous gen as well? I bought the extra digital content on Xbone first through the pre-download option for the Digital Guardian Edition, so those paid in-game items are on my account and on my character(s). So, why is it if I go to the Xbox 360 version where I didn't buy the Digital Guardian Edition yet still have those paid items on my account and on my character, I can't use them? It's complete bullsh*t why I should have to pay for something that I already paid for and not be allowed to keep my paid-for content just because I'm not going from previous gen to current gen. I should be allowed to have the season pass and my collectors items even if I'm playing on a previous generation console. I have both versions because I wanted to get the pre-downloaded version first, and I have the disc version for the 360 so I can play with my friends who don't have the Xbone yet and so I could lend it to my step-brother whenever he wants to play it. I shouldn't have to pay for everything twice when I already have it, and I shouldn't be restricted from using my paid in-game items when everyone else can be allowed to because they are upgrading from previous gen to current gen. This is completely unfair and very upsetting.

  • It's probably just different coding and operating softwares that it requires a different version of the DLC

  • I don't get where you got the thought that you have some kinds of right from this product ^^ you didn't bought "the game" you bought the right to play what they decide to give you it doesn't matter what is on the bluray everything belongs to bungie. You have just the choice to play it or not but no rights to anything. Do you even read the terms and conditions etc ?

Yeah, 3 months later since release we're all still pissed because it was not made clear at launch. Bungie thinks that after everyone who makes the initial purchase back in September will go back to look at the updated terms months later when the dlc is now actually out to keep ourselves updated with the new way of its working.
