I got husk of pit
This is what i did
I had black wax idol
I did the normal story mission called fist of crota level 24
I ran past everything and just kill blade of crota and then went back to orbit and did the mission again got it under 10 mins
There are many different methods to get it but this one work for me
I got it before i complete d the raid and im rank 2 for eris

2 RepliesEdited by Velvet: 12/17/2014 4:21:52 AMAfter an hour of grinding and repeating Fist of Crota, I can confirm Husk of the Pit does drop. What I did was Lv 28 Dificulty Black Wax Idol Skip Everything Before. EDIT: I am level 1 Eris.

I was patrolling Skywatch when a Blade came and invaded. After defeating him, I was given the Husk.

I just received the weapon as well. I was Patrolling the Mothyards in the Cosmodrome attempting to complete the Public Event and Eliminate Blades of Crota bounties. I managed to kill my last Blade of Crota just before the Warsat pummeled me into oblivion. I quickly picked up the relic sword and began defending the Warsat. After all of the chaos, I went to orbit since I completed the desired bounties and checked my inventory to dismantle any uncommon gear that had accumulated over my time in the Cosmodrome. That's when I noticed the Husk of Pit in my inventory. I'm assuming that it dropped from the Blade of Crota.

I got it too!!!!!! I got it when I was playing with this thing then it randomly squirted out to me it's really cool
